James E. Fleet, Chief Restructuring Officer/Senior Executive in Charge
Jim Fleet serves as the chief restructuring officer and senior executive in charge for Hooper Holmes, Inc. d/b/a Provant Health. He is a senior managing director and shareholder at Phoenix Management Services, with more than 25 years of executive management and advisory experience. He has led the Boston office of Phoenix Management Services since its inception. His advisory experience includes more than 100 engagements in which he managed or provided material guidance in turnaround, investment banking and merger and acquisition assignments that have encompassed interim management roles, operational wind-downs, bankruptcy §363 transactions and a variety of refinancing/recapitalization deals. Jim's track record of success in a wide array of corporate environments, including private, public, international, and family-owned companies, demonstrates his unique ability to adapt to the distinctive elements of each assignment. His style is to advocate strongly on behalf of his clients in a manner that builds consensus among all constituents, providing a credible and efficient process producing measurable results.
Mark Clermont, President
Mark is the president of Provant Health. Mark brings more than two and a half decades of proven leadership experience with expertise in global growth, operational efficiency, integration and transformation. Mark most recently served as CFO of UpToDate, Inc. a division of Wolters Kluwer, where he provided strategic and transformative leadership that enabled the company to become the global leader in point-of-care clinical decision support, helping clinicians in 150+ countries improve the practice of medicine. Previously, Mark held multiple leadership roles at Mercer Global Investments, a division of Marsh & McLennan Companies, PFPC, Inc. (now BNY Mellon), and First Data Corporation. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
Kevin Johnson, Chief Financial Officer
Kevin is the chief financial officer of Provant Health. Kevin brings more than 20 years of financial leadership experience with both VC-backed and publicly traded companies. Most recently, Kevin was CFO for MobileAware. Previously, he served in various executive roles at Imprivata, Starent Networks and ProfitLogic. Kevin began his career at Ernst & Young as a senior auditor. He is a certified public accountant in Massachusetts. Kevin earned a bachelor of science in accounting from Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
Marc Salois, Chief Revenue Officer
Marc is a highly experienced sales executive with a history of building cultures of sales and expanding into new markets. He brings more than 15 years of sales leadership experience to Provant Health. Most recently, he was vice president of Enterprise Sales, East, at Omada Health, where he was responsible for sales, implementation, and account management teams in the Eastern US. Omada is a digital health company whose mission is to enable people to live free of chronic disease. Prior to that, Salois was vice president of sales at meQuilibrium, vice president of sales at HighRoads, and is currently an advisor at Harvard Innovation Labs. Marc has a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of Massachusetts.
David Ashley, MD, MBA, Chief Medical Officer
Dave leads Provant Health's clinical teams with medical oversight on health strategy and all clinical practices. He oversees all custom wellness programs and services developed for employers and their employees nationwide. His 20 years of diverse medical practice includes primary care, military medicine, and emergency medicine. In addition to his role as Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ashley is a practicing primary care physician who actively shares his expertise with the medical community through his responsibilities as President of the Rhode Island Academy of Family Physicians; works regularly with family medical residents at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island; is Chief Flight Surgeon for the Rhode Island National Guard; serves as Medical Director for Innovation at Blue Cross Blue Shield Rhode to craft a model for home visits on very complex patients; and is Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School. He is a fervent advocate of integrating true medical home models with current medical practices, as well as adoption and utilization of electronic medical records for better patient care. These strengths contribute to Dr. Ashley’s success in the consumer-driven health care arena, including preventive medicine in the corporate sector. Prior to joining our company, Dr. Ashley served as medical director of multi-physician practices. He holds certifications in ATLS, ACLS, and BLS. He is a graduate of Brown University’s School of Medical and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Ashley is fluent in Spanish.
Thomas Basiliere, Chief Information Officer
As Chief Information Officer for Provant Health, Tom has responsibility for the technology-related functions, information security, and product management, including development of new capabilities that improve the impact of clients’ workplace well-being programs. Previously, Tom spent seven years as vice president and Chief Information Officer of Wolters Kluwers Clinical Decision Support division. In that role he was responsible for technology strategy for UpToDate, a tool that helps doctors make evidence-based decisions at the point of care, and was instrumental in developing the company’s mobile application strategy and team that brought UpToDate to the iPhone. Prior to that, Tom gained IT and business development experience and expertise at Deluxe Corporation, Fidelity Investments, Mellon Bank/The Boston Company and New England Business Services. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from the University of New Hampshire.
Ernie Sifford, Senior Vice President, Operations
As the senior vice president of Operations, Ernie is responsible for event coordination, supply chain management, kit manufacturing, quality management, laboratory testing and customer service which support Provant Health’s comprehensive workplace well-being solutions. He has extensive experience in operations and logistics. Before joining Provant Health, Ernie led IT operations at Black & Veatch, a global leader in engineering, procurement and construction services. Prior to that, Ernie was vice president of Operations for Hooper Holmes, Inc., a company that merged with Provant in May 2017; he also led business integration activities for KGP Logistics’ acquisition of Embarq Logistics. Ernie earned his bachelor degree in Business Administration at the University of Kansas.
